A browser or connected tool is unavailable

Check tool configuration, available capabilities, MCP connections, and task permissions.

Help Center

Check the capability and its configuration

  1. Open Plugins and check that the capability required for the task is enabled.
  2. Read any configuration, installation, or connection message shown for that capability.
  3. Check the task’s permission for the intended files, browser, action, or target.
  4. For an external service, check the account connection and complete its sign-in if required.

Enable the capabilities your task needs. Installation or connection does not authorize every action a tool can perform.

After disabling or reconnecting a tool

Check the task before continuing. Restoring a connection does not expand scope or prove that an interrupted action failed. Verify uncertain external actions before repeating them.

If the task cannot continue with its existing permissions, start a new task with the intended scope rather than assuming an earlier grant applies.

MCP connections and skills are different

An MCP server exposes the tools and resources provided by that server. A skill supplies workflow instructions. Connecting a server does not automatically install a skill; installing a skill does not prove its server is connected.

Check the server in MCP settings, including its enabled state and connection result. A connected server can provide only a viewer or a limited tool set. Its name does not guarantee file creation, conversion, or every feature associated with that product.

Connect only servers you trust and understand the access they receive. Their own privacy terms apply to information sent to them.

Computer Use availability

General Computer Use is not exposed as a selectable capability in the current Neurion interface. Browser Use is separate. Enabling Browser Use does not add general desktop control. There is no account or subscription switch that reveals a Computer Use entry the application does not offer.

If configuration still fails

Contact support@hydralabs.ai with the app version, capability or MCP server name, connection status, and error. Remove API keys, authorization headers, private server URLs, and personal task content from diagnostics.
