Prepare your device

Allow enough free disk space for the download, installed application, update staging, and the project files you intend to create. Installation and update files require temporary working space in addition to the final application size.

The Windows installer is unsigned. Windows can display a publisher or reputation warning when you open it. Check that the file came from the official download page and that the filename and version match the package you selected before continuing.

CyberBot on Windows uses a managed Linux environment through WSL. Its environment manager checks Windows compatibility, virtualization, restart requirements, and disk space before preparation. This environment has a separate storage requirement from the desktop application.

A Windows permission request authorizes the specific system operation shown by Windows. Review it before accepting. If WSL setup requires a restart, save your work and complete that restart before preparing CyberBot again.

Finish setup and keep Neurion current

  1. Confirm that the desktop shows the account you intended to connect.
  2. Open or create a project for Code, or start a conversation in Chat.
  3. Open Plugins to review the tools you want available and Skills to review task guidance.
  4. Prepare the CyberBot environment before a security task if the environment manager requests setup.
  5. When an update is ready, save project work and follow the in-app install or restart action.

An update changes application files; your local conversations and project files remain separate. Keep your own backups of important work. If an update fails, use its retry action or the official installer, and include the application version in a support request.
